Computational modelling & optimisation of underwater naval platform corrosion related signatures
This webinar will introduce how corrosion related signatures arise, their importance and the systems that can be employed to mitigate the threat they pose. It will then describe the detailed computational modelling of the platform in its environment, which is necessary to design systems that reduce the threat from of Corrosion Related Signatures. Paul Rawlins is an expert in mathematical physics and algorithm development and has worked as a researcher at Ultra Maritime for over 25 years. His research has focused on the numerical modelling, system design and development of control algorithms for the management of corrosion and electromagnetic signatures for Naval platforms. He is a recognised national and international subject matter expert in modelling and the control of electromagnetic and corrosion related signatures.
