1. BAE engineers demonstrate ‘XL’ autonomous submarine

Engineers at BAE Systems have successfully demonstrated a new autonomous military submarine. Known as Herne, the extra-large autonomous underwater vehicle (XLAUV) is designed to monitor and protect underwater infrastructure.
