1. NASA prepares swimming robots to search for extra-terrestrial life

NASA has tested prototype swimming robots that could one day explore the oceans of Europa, looking for signs of life in the water of Jupiter’s icy moon. Future iterations of the robots will be deployed in swarms, and use acoustic signals to communicate.
