CloseSally is a chartered engineer and chartered environmentalist, working at Mott Macdonald as global head of sustainability and climate change. Until recently Sally led on the Net Zero Carbon strategy for infrastructure at the UK Environment Agency and prior to this was director for the low zero carbon hub in Wales.
Sally is a fellow of the Women’s Engineering Society and founded the Climate Emergency Group. She is also a fellow of the ICE and the Institute of Asset Management, where she co-chairs the Climate Emergency Programme. Sally was chair of the judging panel for the WE50 Women in Sustainability awards.
Niki is an Associate Director at Hoare Lea, a leading built environment consultancy that provides a full range of MEP, environmental, sustainability and specialist engineering services. Niki has worked for Hoare Lea for over 16 years and has worked across the Bournemouth and London offices during this time.
Niki has been a fundamental part of the development and growth of the STEM Ambassador group within Hoare Lea, and is driven by her passion to promote engineering as a career choice to all year groups. Niki is a Chartered Engineer and has worked on a wide range of projects across many sectors and has significant experience of delivering a variety of projects including educational buildings, museums, residential schemes as well as large mixed use developments.
Niki has a passion for creating interesting and healthy environments and one of her main areas of focus is sustainability and net zero carbon and she is part of the Hoare Lea Net Zero Carbon Strategy implementation team. Niki believes that sustainability is about so much more than Net Zero and is passionate about creating healthy homes that people are proud to live in as part of wider engagement with environmental social governance. Collaborative, human centric design means we can achieve spaces that exceed the requirements around comfort, daylight, air quality, noise, technology and zero carbon and thus be truly sustainable. The opportunity to embrace Modern Methods of Construction coupled with the wider sustainability agenda means there has never been a better time to improve the quality of housing delivery in the UK.
Ioana Price is a Senior Structural Engineer at AECOM. In her career to date, Ioana has been involved in a variety of projects in the UK and around the world, including residential refurbishments in England, humanitarian projects in Uganda, and a new sports complex in Cameroon.
Recently Ioana was a Finalist for the 2021 IStructE Young Engineer of the Year award, and the 2020 Karen Burt Award which recognises the best newly Chartered female Engineers.
Ifeyinwa holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering with research interest in the use of Artificial Intelligence and Omics analysis to optimise Anaerobic processes.
As the Founder and CEO of IntelliDigest Ltd, she is leading IntelliDigest on a mission to empower global food sustainability, eliminate food waste, zero hunger and improve access to nutrition for everyone
She has established a solid and progressive experience in water, wastewater and waste to bioresources and filed patents on novel anaerobic processes.
